The thesis is descriptive and uses a qualitative, inductive approach. The strategy chosen for this thesis was a single case study that uses the Hotel Palais Hansen Kempinski as its branding of study. A mono-method of semi-structured interviews was undertaken for the purpose of collecting branding primary data.

Gone are the days when businesses receive tons of applications and hence were faced with lots of options when it came to choosing the best candidate. Today, it is the other way round: In order to be able to win the battle for talent and attract the best people, businesses need to be proactive.
The main objective of this thesis is to investigate the impact of employer brand image and selection process on attractiveness of potential employers for their target group representatives. Author also investigated employer brand perception of a specific company among its target group representatives and proposed solutions to optimize current employee attraction strategy to better reach the target audience. Theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of branding in general as well as that of the employer branding in particular.
